Saturday again, at last our holy day arrives: another match, a new challenge for the whites. After 2 straight wins and an intense training week the team's morale and confidence were high. The rival this time was Besace RFC, who were currently at the bottom of the table but not less dangerous, especially in a league where we have seen a balanced level between all the participants.

There were important absences for this match, including that of our "capitano" who was in his mother land fighting for freedom (and also recovering from his finger with exercises not fit to describe in a decent website), so his place in management was occupied by our coach player Lolo, emulating the great ones who have taken this responsibility in the history of football like Vialli or Giggs.

After a brief preparation based on ideas looking for a new song for Andrea (brainstorming in its maximum expression) Lolo decided that it was time to become serious. The tactic, without major speculations, 4-4-2 with the diamond of success in the middle, the same tactic that has given RBBFC excellent results in the last games; the message was to go out to control the game and submit the rival. The match began with Besace attacking with determination, specially creating dangerous free kicks near the box, which were all well resisted by the RBBFC strong defence. The game was maintained in this way for the first 15 minutes, including even a key intervention from our goalkeeper Romain "El Grande". After that action, RBBFC started regaining control of the match, moving the ball with better circulation and leading to more dangerous plays, including the one that would change the match: Horacio received the ball inside the box and after a smart and fast feint the defender committed a foul on him, the referee didn't hesitate: PENALTY.

It was at this time that there was a brief dispute between our forwards about who would take it, finally Charlie ceded the penalty to Danielle after reaching a free beer agreement for the rest of the season with the club President (PSG style). Daniele stood with great security in front of the ball, finishing strong and in the middle like the forwards do in such situations. Without a doubt a great goal and very good for his confidence and that helped the whites to get the match under control. Also not-to-miss, another highlight was the great sliding tackle of BonBon with a perfect timing, the applause was heard from the stands.

In the half time Lolo asked us to continue with intensity and look for the second score to close the game. For that reason, he decided to bring fresh blood in with Guido replacing Nuno at the beginning of the second half. The control began to be clearer and the second goal was only a matter of time, but for this there was still missing a change, Horacio to leave his place to Alessandro, who entered the field to seal the game, and accomplished with the mission: two goals of great quality during his 30 minutes on the field. There was great confidence in the team, you could see fluid and fast movements. RBBFC's strong defense was providing safety in the back, the midfield was tuned and oiled working perfectly, and the forwards continued bombarding searching for new chances to score. It was at this moment that something began to change in the air: suddenly the cold and the humidity was replaced by the pleasant climate of the beaches, the beer was supplanted by caipirinhas and it seemed that Brussels became Copacabana, a metamorphosis product of the "jogo bonito" that the white squad began to generate, playing in one touch elegantly all this emphasised by Diego entering the pitch to replace Daniele. All this ended up generating a great play where the whole team played the ball, ending with a chest pass from Diego to Charlie who shot from outside the box and almost scored, without a doubt, what would have been the goal of the season, a pity that it could not be achieved.

Finally came the final whistle, a great victory for the whites, the third of this positive streak. Apart to giving us the 3 points gives us an important dose of confidence, I believe that in addition to being all great players we are a magnificent group of people and friends, which is the key to success to achieve the championship this season. Remember that if we remain together no one will beat us.
