Game got underway, high rhythm immediately from the start meant a 100km team average will finally be achieved (without Michele's help). This was a proper 20min of football as they play on the island, long balls, hard tackles, etc. First goal was a masterpiece, someone played a nice ball to the side to Drieske who then according to surprised Thommy did a pass almost instantly, from one/two touches to the German who then does something we didn't know he had in him, lets the ball through for lonely AMC Luka who takes a 16m shot with his left in the bottom right corner- GOAL. In the meantime strikers had 3-4 clear chances but failed to score due to still uncertain reasons (yet to be explained). I honestly don't remember how we scored the 2nd goal but Thommy finally got it in. I am sure it was a nice goal, please feel free to elaborate :)

And then...when everyone thought we will score a few more, RBBFC thought differently and decided to spice the game up allowing Irish to score a goal for 2-1 before the half-time. Again, don't quite remember how that happened.

2nd half started in a similar fashion as the 1st but this time with a bit more passing thanks to always good halftime team talk. We decided that we want to score 1 more which we succeeded some 15-20min into the second half when Rich took a corner and placed the ball directly on Yao Ming's shinny forehead breaking his 1-year goal scoring post. Solid play after the goal but somehow after unsuccessful RBBFC counterattack they manged to 'counter' us in 4 touches and score a goal to spice things up again for us. We started having some troubles with fitness but managed to survive until the end with a great team effort and attitude. All in all, I think we played a very nice game, can't say best this season as I haven't been there for quite a few times but I know that fans on the stands did think so.

3 points in the end with an amazing team performance. Well done everyone! Really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next one where we have the chance to finally create some space and move away from the competition.
